There’s one account on Instagram that we follow and it’s @thegoodquote. Today we took a chance on basing our first blog on its latest post, which cites:
“I’m happy that I’m me. I love being weird. I love being me.” – Reverie Hippie
Self-confidence is self-assurance in one’s personal judgement, ability and power to do things. Self-confidence also comes from mastering particular activities by which then it increases, such that in the future, you can accomplish what you’ve set out to do.
Sometimes when we lack confidence, we don’t feel good about ourselves. But learning to identify and challenge negative perceptions can remind you that you have a choice; that you have a right to feel good about who you are.
If being weird means parodying other celebrity’s seamlessly perfect photos by doing your own take as per comedian, Celeste Barber, or dancing around in your underwear (we have a sale going on btw) or doing a little hop skip along the pavement in front of a crowd, whatever and however you do it, do it through your own means and under your own steam.
If it makes you feel good, who's to stop you?
The more you do it, the more you become confident at it too.
So be happy, be weird and love being you.
